Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are your mosaic tiles purely handmade? What is your production capacity?

Yes, all of our products are purely handmade.

Our monthly production capacity is 100 Square Meters. If there are orders from other countries, allocations will be based on what's left. Other products we design such as the Fashion Accessories and Decorative Murals may take a shorter time to produce. Feel free to e-mail me @ info@mactanmosaics.com if you have questions. It would be our pleasure to address them.

Inventory: We have a very limited tile inventory. Most of our products are made to order.

2. From the time I place an order, how soon will I receive my tiles or murals? What is your shipping method?

It will take 2-3 weeks. For Mural Art Works, it will depend  on a per project basis. We ship via USPS ground shipping in the US. For international shipments, please contact us first before buying.

3. What if I am not happy with my order and or how the tiles look?

We will replace any defective items caused by shipping and handling. Now, please be informed that all Mactan products are purely done by hand. Little Imperfections are expected (no two tiles are 100% exactly the same which makes it unique). To minimize this situation from happening, we will first send you an image of the finished product before we ship them to you.

Note: We will insure all deliveries.

4. Do you offer samples?

We do not have a sampling program. We offer a sample kit for $99. The kit contains most of our special collections and catalogs.

Note: We will credit the $99 towards your final order later.

5. What about the quality of the tiles/other products?

We can guarantee you strict quality control. Since 2003 we've been producing these handmade Mother of Pearl Mosaics. We have processes in place to make sure that every tile production is monitored properly.

6. Do you accept custom art work projects?

Yes, we do accept special request for fine art work projects.

7. Is there any special cleaning instruction?

Never use any abrasives. Only smooth cloth and mild detergent. No chemicals please.

8. What are the payment terms for very large orders (over $20,000)?

Before we process any custom job request, a 50% downpayment is required. Balance due before we ship the items to you.
